Thanksgiving has now come and gone and with that being said I have much to be thankful for this year, friends providing me with good company and laughs, family bringing warmly cooked meals and constant scholarship application help, and an FFA officer team excited to participate in a Friendsgiving dinner. On Sunday December 1st the officers gathered together each bringing a home cooked meal and lots of cheer to the table. Now I’m not going to lie, my dad made the Mac and cheese and Walmart generously supplied the rolls but my genuine heart was still present in the kitchen! While at dinner we filled our little bellies and spent lots of time playing card games and talking about things we are thankful for from our time in FFA. That question is so simple for me yet so challenging. I have so many memories and warm thoughts when reflecting on this organization, it is so hard to pick just one moment. All I can say is thank you to the countless shows for teaching me to work harder, contests, camps and conventions for teaching me to be patient and humble, and to the people involved in every step in between who have made me who I am today. As Vice President Kaitlan and I attended our last Skiatook FFA Thanksgiving we have nothing left to say but Happy Holidays!
